the Gorges de Souloise from the north and the spectacular Col du Noyer (not open during winter)
to the east with its famous Napoleonic refuge. The village St Etienne
en Dévoluy (1,300 m alt.), less than 2 miles from the ski resorts
Superdévoluy and La Joue de Loup and 65 miles of ski slopes. Ski shuttle
from village to ski resorts.
The Dévoluy offers a wide range
of winter and summer activities including, cycling, hiking, caving
(over 300 caves "coldrum") via ferrata as well as, of course, cross-country
and alpine skiing.

A region renowned for its 300 days of sunshine a year, the luminosity
